Multi-Award winning Gospel artist ALIA LARA (pronounced: "uh-lee-yah"), is known for her honey-like vocals, biblically inspired lyrics and captivating melodies.ALIA LARA gracefully entered the Gospel Music scene in 2020 with her much-loved debut single "Actions". Before this, she spent her childhood and early teenage years performing and studying Musical theatre. She then pursued a secular music career in her later teenage years. But after being baptised at age 19, she made the pivotal decision to leave the secular industry behind to devote her life and musical endeavours to serving God and sharing her journey and her testimony; fulfilling the call on her life.
Named ASTEPFWD New Artist of the year 2023 and TMMP Best R&B 2023. The London-born singer/songwriter was quickly established as one of the UK’s brightest gems and Independent talents in Gospel, Alia uses the influences she grew up with (predominantly R&B) to bring a dewy, yet punchy sound to Gospel music today. Through her music infused with biblical scripture and the likes of R&B/Soul, Afrobeat and even Hip-Hop; ALIA LARA aims to serve as a musical breath of fresh air, and a sister in Christ to her Millennial generation and beyond. As she journeys through her own walk with God, The UK Gospel/Christian Artist writes her songs not only to personally worship, but also to edify, inspire and relate to younger listeners - especially women, to live a Christ-centred life in today's society, remaining 'Kingdom Minded' throughout all of life's highs and lows.
